Staying in our campsite in Porto Vecchio during your vacations will be the ideal starting point to discover the city, but also the beaches of South Corsica whose beauty is breathtaking! Among them, as a couple or with friends, do not miss the sublime beaches of Palombaggia and Santa Giulia.
Dive into the heart of the history of the citadel of Porto Vecchio. Built on the rocks, the city is impressive for its location, history and culture.
Near the camping Ü Stabiacciu, Porto Vecchio invites you to discover its small streets and squares, its old town, but also its marina and the lighthouse of Chiappa. Visit the old salt marshes at the port to better understand the origin of its nickname of “City of Salt”.
But what is a port city without its beautiful beaches surrounding it? The paradisiacal beaches of white sand and turquoise water will no longer be just dreams for you, but a real experience. Discover the charm of the beaches of southern Corsica: Santa Giulia, Palombaggia, Rondinara or Saint Cyprien and Pinarello further north. You will live a heavenly stay without any doubt!
Are you less interested in sightseeing and historical visits? Don’t panic, Porto Vecchio is also renowned for its dynamism: a wide choice of stores, open until midnight in season, restaurants and bars, festive bars offering lively evenings, and a discotheque and a cabaret to end the night.

From our campsite in Porto Vecchio, don’t hesitate to visit the region of Bonifacio. The city was built on the edge of steep cliffs. It has an incredible view of the sea, but also a rustic charm thanks to its old citadel, its historic center and its marine cemetery.
But Corsica is not only the beach! We have near us magnificent rivers like the Oso (Lecci) or the Cavu Valley (Sainte-Lucie de Porto-Vecchio) very appreciable with the big heats that we have at home in summer, but also our magnificent mountains. We are at the feet of theAlta-Rocca and its numerous villages: Ospedale with its forest and its lake (dam), Levie with its museum and the archaeological site of Cucuruzzu-Capula, Carbini and its Roman church, Sainte-Lucie de Tallano the olive oil village, but also Quenza and the Cuscionu plateau with its pozzines, Zonza and the Bavella pass with its famous Aiguilles and the Trou de la Bombe, and you will go back down to Solenzara to dive in the magnificent natural pools to refresh yourself!
For a gastronomic vacation, we recommend going to Figari to visit the Corsican pig farm U Porcu Ranger (reservations are required well in advance) and the Valicella cheese factory. Take an interest in La Route des Sens
If you are willing to travel a bit, you should not miss the opportunity to discover Roccapina with its beautiful beach and its famous Lion overlooking it, as well as Sartène and Propriano! Don’t hesitate to push to Corté and its citadel (in Haute-Corse), historical center of Corsica in order to stroll in the magnificent Restonica valley and to visit the very interesting Museum of Corsica.
